Celebrate National Heritage Day amongst the soaring peaks of the Simonsberg mountain at Plaisir de Merle during the Franschhoek Uncorked Festival.
Spread out on the lush lawn overlooking the Simondium valley with live music by Coffee-4-Two. The estate’s rich winemaking history, dating back to 1693, is evident in the complex, beautifully balanced and multi-layered wines produced here – wines that would have found favour with huguenot founder, Charles Marais.
Join us for a feast during the festival with a snoek braai. Wine on offer for the festival tasting will be: Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot and Petit Plaisir.
Time: Saturday 24 & Sunday 25 September: 11h00 – 17h00
Cost: R60 per person for the snoek braai.
